SPECTRA

Wines from Santorini by Olja Mladjenovic. Chance of Rain by Liane Grant.
SPECTRA ran at the Etcetera Theatre in London from 15th – 16th August 2021 as part of the Camden Fringe Festival.

SPECTRA is a collection of two short plays which depict the intricacies of female relationships in opposing contexts.

WINES FROM SANTORINI is an intimate exploration of the complexities of childhood bonds that struggle to survive the journey into adulthood.

CHANCE OF RAIN is a political drama, which examines the professional interactions of women in the workplace.

No longer is the concept of the female a stereotype; we can be wives and mothers – or not; we can be career-driven, ambitious and passionate – or not; we can be decent, cruel, loud, quiet, soft, hard, all of it at once or one thing at a time, but most importantly, we can be whatever the hell we want.

“Mladjenovic and Grant turning in two very good performances [in Wines from Santorini]” (North West End)

“[Chance of Rain] is a meaty piece of theatre, packed full of content which does not hold back in lending its theatrical voice to the climate debate.  The whole cast (Emily Panes, Julie Ross, Olja Mladjenovic, Oyinka Yusuff and Liane Grant) communicated their enthusiasm for the piece and their enjoyment was reflected in their excellent performances.” (North West End)
